Fire Service Technician
Salary

Shift
This is a position with variable hours depending on customer needs
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on fire extinguishers
- Fire extinguisher recharge, maintenance and testing
- Perform inspections on automatic fire suppression system
- Fire suppression system recharge, maintenance and testing
- Fire suppression system installation
- Perform inspections on exit/emergency lights
- Exit/emergency light maintenance
- Vent hood steam cleaning
- Perform inspections on fire sprinkler systems
- Sprinkler system maintenance
- Maintain precise documentation of maintenance and reporting
- Plan and organize work
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- High School Diploma/ GED
- The capability of lifting 80lbs
- Strong communication and customer service knowledge
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong self-driven work ethic
- Ability to work in all weather
- Ability to work some nights
- Ability to work off ladders and/or lifts
Preferred
- Tennessee fire specialist license
- College Degree
- Basic knowledge of electrical work
- Basic knowledge of cutting/ threading pipe
Steam Cleaning Technician (Part Time)

Overview
This job includes kitchen vent hood degreasing and steam cleaning. Includes operating a commercial pressure washer with water temps reaching up to 200 degrees. Details include moving appliances, tarping/ covering kitchen components, degreasing, and cleaning hood, duct and exhaust fan, and cleaning up afterward.
